Moving Mountains – Our Mobile Climbing Wall

This is a great piece of kit. Our climbing wall is fully mobile and can be taken almost anywhere. We bring the mountain to you! The mobile climbing wall is a fantastic way to draw crowds at any event. It’s suitable for a variety of ages and abilities.

The wall is an impressive 20 feet high (6 metres) with a textured surface to make it feel like you’re climbing a real mountain. Four climbing faces offer a range of climbs and each climbing route is colour coded to show the climb’s difficulty. The wall only takes 30 minutes to set up and can be set up indoors or out. To help create that ‘real climb feel’ the wall is fitted with a manual belaying system. Climbers can provide support and encouragement to their colleagues.

Do I need to bring my own safety helmet?

No. We’ll provide you with all the safety equipment you’ll need.

What happens if I slip?

You’ll be attached by a safety harness. The climb will be overseen by experienced instructors.

Do I have to consider anything else?

Yes:

• All gates and entrances need to be over 9 feet (3 metres) wide to allow the vehicle and climbing wall to pass through
• In high winds, the wall may need to be lowered for safety
• Whilst strapped to the vehicle, the wall is 8.5 feet (2.6 metres) high, 9 feet (2.8 metres) wide and 46 feet (14 metres) long
• When set up, the mountain (including trailer) is 38 feet (11.6 metres) long, 19.5 feet (6 metres) high and 8 feet (2.45 metres) wide
