I found the event challenging and extremely enjoyable as this was unlike any form of training I had done before. I’m not the best with heights but found an amazing sense of achievement once I had conquered the climbing wall for the first time.The river rafting and mid-river transfer was a superb way of building trust with colleagues and is certainly something I would recommend to others.I look forward to the next time.

The event was great fun and created a bond between team members during the activities and a rush of adrenalin after completion when we we mixed (networked). I believe trust was the key concept, since many of us do not know the other teams members and put into situation where we had to rely upon the others to carry out tasks using problem solving solutions to complete the tasks which also required physical interaction. It helps us as individuals and how to work as a team. The event was fantastic. Very beneficial both on a personal and a business level. It definitely helped to alter my perceptions of me, my business and my relationships with colleagues, contacts and customers. I made some valuable connections too – it was definitely a worthwhile evening. Looking forward to the next one!

Addventure’s involvement in our BAM Nuttall Activity Day for of all our 110 First Year Civil Engineering students in October 2008 was a real success. The Addventure staff were brilliant in the way that they worked with the students, talking them through each activity… planning, doing, critically analysing, improving… all done with patience, good humour and a lot of laughter, so that not only was a huge amount learnt but every activity was an enjoyable experience. We believe that the day was instrumental in increasing the engagement of the student cohort with their courses at an early stage, and Addventure played a very important part in that. We are definitely planning that this will be an annual event.
